Descripción Gassot Tefilín significa Filacterias Gruesas. Es un nombre complejo, pero solo hace referencia a la gruesa tira de cuero utilizada para crear estos tefilín. También incluyen insertos que facilitan el cierre. Los tefilín se fabrican aplicando repetidamente varias toneladas de presión en una prensa industrial. Los tefilín Gassot son extremadamente duraderos gracias al grueso cuero utilizado para su fabricación; de hecho, suelen durar toda la vida. El grueso cuero permite su reparación incluso en caso de daños graves. Las correas de los tefilín se fabrican con la parte superior del cuero (lo que en hebreo se conoce como Retsuot Elyon) y sus batim miden entre 34 y 35 mm. Los tefilín se fabrican en Israel por Pe’er HaSTaM y están certificados como kosher tras una revisión humana y computacional. Incluyen un certificado que acredita su corrección y su kosher. Importante saber: Si eres diestro, usas los tefilín en el brazo izquierdo, mientras que si eres zurdo, los usas en el brazo derecho.
